Snaggletooth
Anybody used one of these, any experiences?
spatular
never used one. but close to buying one on multiple occasions, think it's the messing around that i'm not up for, apparently they aren't really plug and play, and i think they don't work with n64 (standard uk one would need an RGB mod i believe, although i might be wrong with that). there's a new similar thing that's more plug and play - retrotink 5 something, that looks good but costs more there's also an ossc pro coming which will apparently rotate stuff so that sounds amazing. i've been making do with buying some component cables where supported, and using composite for older stuff - my current tv deals with those much better than the old tv that had scart, so it's not too bad. what would you be using it for?
Snaggletooth
Well taken plunge and ordered one, Didnt want to spend the £300 on the tink, just too pricey. Gonna use it initially for the PS2 but some space for future expansion as I rebuy some of my older consoles.

Popular Post Snaggletooth
Well hooked it all up today, and pretty satisfied so far, just testing on PS2 withmix of PS2 and 1 games, the variety of resolutions had me switching between line modes to get best fit for the screen, but basics were not as complicated as I had feared, and seems a better image on PS2 than some youtube videos have you believe. I am even tempted to leave with these settings I have stumbled across as are fairly solid. Only one issue is processing of some interlace signals with Bob deinterlacing adds a little judder to screen, which noticed at first but soon got used to, will be interesting to see if any of the options can tame it a bit though.
