Bob
Tracer getting buffed. Also. If new Genji is wearing clothes.. does that mean he's been running round naked this whole time?
Maryokutai
I think this is a very sneaky way to work with Activision's push to release more games because this is basically just an add-on that has the name of a sequel. I like the ideas behind the PvE modes and some of the new character designs are cool but I doubt it's going to distract me from the main game for long. That said I've been looking forward to Echo since McCree short last year and with multiple new heroes launching alongside OW2 this will be a nice package. The only downside to this is that we'll probably not getting anything noteworthy for the current game until this comes out.

Maryokutai
Not entirely unexpected considering WoW's history but still kind of weird to see. Overwatch IMO lost a lot of its appeal when it became an eSport and Blizzard tried, and mostly failed, to make it a balanced experience all-around, which dulled some heroes' toolsets in an effort to make them more universally viable picks. With this they're reverting everything (for three weeks) to its 1.0 version which had some incredibly busted but also super unique and fun stuff in it. For a lot of people this will be the first time seeing some reworked abilities, too, as the game's populace has shifted quite a bit since going f2p. The trailer is full of 2016 memes, though I'm not sure if anyone still active on here even played it then.

Maryokutai
Gotta say I'm really looking forward to playing the first version of Symmetra for a bit. That character lost of a lot of her toolset identity along the road.
Maf
I can’t believe they’ve released a classic version before I even played the first game at all.
Maryokutai
It is f2p now, so you can just download it and try. Though as mentioned, the classic mode is a 3-weeks only affair for the moment. It's completely imbalanced and bollocks and probably the best way for a casual player to just hop in for a bit and see what it's about.
Maryokutai
I'm not going to keep this topic alive, but the new hero coming to the game is Scottish and I felt like I should post that here. Visually rather meh, cool but super bloated kit. It's an interesting case study for powercreep in these games with Classic mode running in parallel. This guy would be mega busted in 2016 Overwatch.
