shinymcshine
My Switch dock is connected to my main TV, but when my missus is playing on the PS4 I tend to play on the Switch (handheld). But there's a few games I've bought that I just can't get on with on the small screen (eg.Dragons Dogma and Darkest Dungeon) and do I'd love to be able to hook it up to my 20" TV that's upstairs. But, a second NS dock seems to be £80!!! Is there a cheaper, reliable, way of doing it, without moving my dock around each time ?

spatular
yeah i remember reading that somewhere too, think it was supposed to be ok if you use an official power supply...maybe?
shinymcshine
Ok cheers - I'm thinking that by the time I've bought a cheap adapter (£20) and an official charger (£25) the might as well take the full hit of an official dock for £80 (complete with everything). Rikzilla
Just move your doc into the other room?
mmmark
Yeah it would be cheapest just to buy a charger and hdmi if you don’t want to faff around with the wires.
Jimboxy
I may be wrong, but make sure the charger supports the dock and doesn't just charge. I seem to remember when I looked at a second charger for work that some didn't support the dock, although I'm not sure why that would be the case.
