Half Life 3. I still think there's a lot chance for this, possibly more so now Valve have competition and their card game tanked. They could do with some good news for Steam, stuff to get people excited for it, a new Half Life does that, a new Left 4 Dead gets people playing regularly. Ideally they'd just do something with Team Fortress or Counter Strike, but their attempt with the latter struggled too 

 

 

I'd really like a Camelot made Shining Force 4, and I'd like a  Panzer Dragoon Saga sequel

Dead Space 4... I want a legitimate end to Isaac's journey, seeing what had happened on Earth would be an excellent end to the franchise.

 

Alien : Isolation 2... A second game was definitely teased with that ending, with how good the first was I'd lap up a second.

Which they walked back and said it was a teaser for the second anniversary for MGR. Yeah right.

No, its a sequel.  Its set in the same world, has returning characters, you even return to some areas of the first game and the game plays the same way and has the same structure. 

 

If that's not a sequel then nothing is.

Lots of conflicting reports on it. But the general official line tends to draw along the Demon's/Dark parallel I made.

Okay, that few paragraphs of a translated interview does say that, but I played (and finished) the game.  It's a sequel.  It really is. 

 

Maybe in the run up they were worried about blow back so distanced themselves.  I dunno.  But that isn't an official line, it's a producers line covering a low key release.  Though, personally I don't know why they'd sell the game short.  It's a pretty good attempt regarding what they had to work with. 

 

But after playing it at face value that game is a sequel.  There should be no rhetoric saying otherwise.

Yeah, any spiritual successor talk from the producer is just them getting very nose in the air about it. Like the game takes place after the first game with the same locations and characters and plays the same. Like, how much more of a sequel can you get.

Zool, i would love to see a sequel to that, or a HD remaster

 

There are so many classic amiga games that really would benefit from a new iteration or HD remasters. Doubt any will, thought GODS got a remaster lately

 

I'd love to see a new sequel to Dino Crisis aswell, or Cold Fear... to be honest the list goes on, and i haven't even mentioned Spectrum games

Psi Ops 2 - Definitely agree with this one. I had so much fun with the first. No other game is like it. Any that do have powers like this always seem to try and be a bit too serious. Psi Ops just let you have fun throwing huge items and people around, made me laugh out loud loads of times.

 

Panzer Dragoon Saga 2 - I’m happy there’s another Panzer Dragoon but what I really want is another big RPG one like Saga. 

 

Fighters Megamix 2 - I’d love another of these or just remaster the first.

After REmake 2 came out, a friend of mine was asking if I thought they could reuse that engine for a similar remake of Dino Crisis. I said no and the reason is the dinosaurs and their physics. William Birkin was technically the largest character model in the game and yet he doesn't move like a T-Rex. I did suggest the DMC 5 engine might be a better alternative, especially how the gameplay diverged in DC 2 & 3.

Indeed. One of the best examples was a tunnel that suddenly had no floor. Impassible to most other games, yet in Psi-Ops, just climb on a crate and "Magneto" yourself across...

Dino Crisis was much more thriller/horror than Dino Crisis 2, yet i love both of them for differing reasons, though the ending to DC2 was just way too convoluted for my teen brain at the time.
