Maryokutai Posted January 2, 2025 Posted January 2, 2025 For all the shit it got at the time, that weird triple-spinny-blade makes Dark Sector surprisingly recognisable. Never played it though.
Popular Post retroed Posted January 2, 2025 Popular Post Posted January 2, 2025 This is a mixture of the Steam winter sale and CD Keys bargains. Should keep me busy on the Steam Deck for a while. 👀 7
Popular Post DANGERMAN Posted January 7, 2025 Popular Post Posted January 7, 2025 Had this a few days but forgot to post My two Saturn 3d pads have fucking vanished somewhere, so I've had to buy another if only to play Burning Rangers I got Clockwork Knight, which I've never actually played more than a demo of because it's such a fugly game I also got a game called Mechanical Violatior Hakaider, which is a name alright. I think it's based on a series. I bought it because it's a lightgun game. Probably not a good one, but it wasn't expensive 7
Guest Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Bit late but my Christmas purchases from the break.
Maf Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Balance out Balatro's evil (Got the Origins DLC, too) 4
one-armed dwarf Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 By balancing out the evil do you mean like when Hitler entered an alliance with Stalin, except worse somehow Also now that I think of it, I was reading that the cloud saving between the IOS and Steam versions have a bug that can cause your save to get fucked up. So it might be best to stick to one platform until they fix that (I don't know how the bug is caused cause I can't use cloud saves anyway)
Maf Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 I've only beaten 1 deck 1 time. I don't mind playing from the beginning And what do you mean Sonic isn't like Stalin. It's more like vegetables and ice cream
DANGERMAN Posted January 13, 2025 Posted January 13, 2025 Vegetables and Ice Cream were characters in one of the GBA Sonic games I think 1
Maryokutai Posted January 13, 2025 Posted January 13, 2025 Cream the Rabbit, which indeed was a name, not a command. 1

DANGERMAN Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 Am I remembering correctly and they made some new games for it?
shinymcshine Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 Looks like there's a few on the Atari Store (think this got previewed in Retro Gamer a while back). https://atari.com/products/2600-collect-them-all-bundle-6-game-cartridges
Guest Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 I believe so, was released a couple of years back now I think. So dont think loads of new games came out, but think a fair few re releases, Ive not really got any nostalgia for it, but i do love the console design and at £55 seemed about right price for me to take the plunge
Popular Post retroed Posted January 16, 2025 Popular Post Posted January 16, 2025 Christmas haul and DKCRHD which arrived today. 8
mfnick Posted January 16, 2025 Author Posted January 16, 2025 What’s the GBA pixel book like? I’m interested in getting it.
retroed Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 Very good @mfnick. Tons of pixel art, expanded sections and lots of text. If you like GBA/pixel art you'll love it. I recommend the SNES one, too. 3
mfnick Posted January 16, 2025 Author Posted January 16, 2025 😍 shit, I think I’m going to have to get it on payday. 1
Maryokutai Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 Ditto, that looks great. Also shoutouts to Omega Factor, that was a great game. Received it as a random review copy back then, thinking it was some cheap shovelware. Then the Treasure logo popped up and yep, I was very wrong.
Guest Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 Preordered this one 2 years ago from Limited Run!
