I mean as I type this comment it's way louder than what I'm used to and it does sort of KLACK but I think cherry red (why are they called 'cherry' anyway?) are the quietest you can get. Some people really like the really loud ones but I think it would get to annoy me. Read some chart somewhere which said blues are best for MMOs (way more loud and tactile) and red is good for FPS. I'm too scared to completely re-learn how to play FFXIV anyway so I'm happy with that. Looking forward to doing some personal projects on this thing too. I've MX Browns on my keyboard, I did look at what the difference between the reds, browns and blues but I can't remeber now why I went for the browns. Mine isn't that loud, the keys have a bit of resistance, but not a huge amount, but are nice and tactile. I can type super fast with it (and at least some of the words are correct as well.)
