Just a quick update on my 5g/mobile network woes...

 

Found this toggle in the Google settings

 

 

Use your current provider was clicked, I tried the use another provider (there's 4) and it seems to have cleared the problem and the forum is usable without the aid of a VPN.

 

No idea if it's something I should be doing though? 😂

I think, and I really don't know and @Jimboxy is on holiday, but I think your default one basically can't find the site. It's probably cached it on the wrong ip (this could be absolutely shite), so a different provider might have the correct one, and seemingly does

I think DNS is basically like the phone book for your Internet, and your default DNS has the wrong number for 'mfgamers.net'.

Don't know if this was just an issue at my end - but I'll put here just for note.

 

I got logged out of the forum the other day, and then couldn't remember the password.

 

When I went to use the password reset it kept failing the security check as shown below, so wouldn't send the reset email.

 

Anyway I did finally recall my password and got back in regardless, but thought it worth a mention.

Hmm I'll maybe try it when I get home. I don't think it's something on our side because we don't control that, but it could be on their side . 

 

I do know sites like ebay were having issues last night, so it's possible they're all on the same provider?
