I dunno how true this is but on Twitter I saw someone say the reason they bought these sites is to basically shut them down. Essentially the theory boils down to ad money and if there’s less big game sites to sell ads on then the sites that still exist can charge more.

 

Not sure how true that is but there you go. I don’t particularly like Eurogamer UK, their tastes don’t really align with mine very much, but that’s an old ass site so it’ll be disappointing if it goes away

I think that's bad news from any angle, even though DF is the only entity on that list I frequently consult. They're usually rather transparent, I wonder if they're going to talk about it on their next podcast about what it might entail.

Yeah I could see a lot of those going. Eurogamer were at least decent on YouTube but Aoife left (@radiofloyd can check my spelling), and they were already struggling to put out the fun multi-team member content, that killed it. 

 

If I was rich I'd have bought them, but I'm not so it will likely mean games media is going to get even more America focused

Overall the game looks unique, but there’s something in the gameplay that looks familiar to me but I can’t put my finger on it.

CoD BO6 is always online, even the campaign, so they can stream in textures

 

Even with the texture streaming and not being downloaded, the install size for this game is over 300GB

What you get in each tier of Game Pass is a little bit all over the shop too... I was gonna play the campaign for this but that install size is fucking crazy and I'm not sure I'll bother.

Usually for cod I think/hope you can install the part of the game you want to play so just install single player or just install multiplayer… and hopefully it’ll be a smalller install.

I thought the trailer for Black Ops 6 seemed really good and mental. But only played the 1st one and the last one so hope they put these games on Gamepass closer to release. I’d like to play all the campaigns start to finish
