I think his distinct "Just smelled a fart" face that defined his performance in Twilight will be perfect for the caped crusader.

I haven’t seen him in anything other than Twilight/Harry Potter so I can’t say, but seeing as I’m championing Daniel Radcliffe to be the next Wolverine I’m gonna keep an open mind.

It’s been a long time since Twilight, actors get better and great directors can pull amazing performances out of OK actors anyway, and apparently Pattinsons post-Twilight performances have been in the realm between good and great so he could be the right choice.

Robert Pattinson has been cast as the next Batman. Thoughts?

Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck...

The casting of Batman has run the gamut with actors over the past fifty odd years. I don't think I've ever seen anything he has done, but provided he doesn't have Bale's "Bat-rasp", I have no issue. Let's see what he does with it.

Will Arnett.

No joke, I don't think he'd be a bad live action Batman.

Ah, Gob from Arrested Development? I can see that. I do remember Jake Gyllenhaal was in the running too. I think he could work also.
