This game looks cool. The release date clashes badly with Sekiro though. From the developers of Sherlock: Crimes and Punishments.

I had heard of this somewhere before - maybe PC Gamer or something - but didn’t realise it was coming out so soon.

 

This is the first I’ve seen of the Gameplay too, it looks really interesting, I do worry a little bit about leaving the city completely open ended as it could feel aimless or you could get easily stuck but it definitely looks very cool. 

 

If I can get it for £20 or so I might give it a go.

I’m a big fan of their Sherlock games and it looks to be more of that so I’ll pick it up.

Seems like the developers agreed that the release window was a little crowded, so the game has been delayed until June 27th.

That is very sensible. Very late though, surely the discs would’ve already started printing by now?! Guess they’ll just leave them in a warehouse somewhere until June.

the short version of that is that Big Ben as publisher were late with payments, started to demand the source code despite only publishing the game, cancelled bonus payments, and started doing stuff with the licence that they don't have the right to

Notably, it is still available through some routes, as per Frogware statement:

Went to buy from the eshop and saw they had the deluxe edition, inc. 2x dlc, for £11.99 so went for that instead.

 

lt'll be a few weeks before I play though.

Good for them. There's been a couple of times I've toyed with buying this and held off because I wasn't sure if it was their version or not

It's an okay game, just gets very repetitive quite quickly, so if you do get it, then maybe just stick to the main quest (as side quests are pretty much all the same pattern) - it does initially bristle with some great ideas, but goes downhill rapidly.
