In strange coincidence, this was the most recent Speedrun ala ESA. I left it a few days before posting.

Naturally, All forumites still currently playing along: Do Not Watch (yet). Glitches aren't really used but exploits are.

Not that I’m planning a speedrun, but this almost hit-less run on Sekiro was so fun it made me finally order the game

I clicked on the Genichiro fight and they took damage, fucking noobs.

This a long but fantastic Mario Odyssey speedrun. These are the speed runs I like where glitches are minimal, it’s all expert playing of the game

I did not enjoy Separate Ways but RE4 remake is a really really fun game to optimise runtimes for on S+ mode on pro, so much that I did it twice. I actually think it's kinda underrated as far as a TPS SP game goes

 

Crazy that there's no achievement for it

Speed runs make this game look so slick and I really want to play it. But every time I do it’s a cluster fuck of crappy play and it puts me off. I’ve got up to chapter 5 twice now and been put off because with Ashley it just makes the game even harder to manage

RE4 remake just looks so fun. I might just have to rage play it until I get good

I looked this game up the other day and was surprised to find it got less than 90 on Metacritic. That sort of blows me away. I think it’s probably top 10, if not top 5 game of 2020’s

To be fair, I've only just clocked you said 2020s, which is only 4 years, and there's barely any games nowadays. 

 

I mean, it still isn't, but it's not an insane claim. It might be Nintendo's best game in that period, it's Metroid or Kirby

Dread is a phenomenal game, maf is right for once. I have played none of these Top 5 Metacritic games but those are all vastly different experiences anyway. There's no scenario in which I can look at Metroid and Alan Wake and find common ground to compare them.

 

I'll say though that Kirby can't really hold a candle to Dread. It's very charming and full of nice ideas, but ultimately rather basic.
