mfnick
Thing is they’re not blaming this on Coronavirus at all. If it’s due to loss of revenue caused by the current situation you can understand it partly. They’re saying it’s due to switching engines part way through (UE3-4) and the game had to cover both costs of development and engine development before any profits are made. That will have been a decision made high up and the fact is the game is on track to beat lifetime sales of any other instalment which should entitle the employees to their bonus surely? & as I always say just because it may be a “normal” thing in business doesn’t mean it’s ok and should just be accepted without calling them out on it, otherwise nothing will ever be better for employees or customers.
smallofbooty
Agreed, @mfnickif normal is bad or wrong. If "legal" is unfair and unjust. It doesn't make it right or acceptable. It should be called out and argued for something better - better for one group benefits all of us, as we then all expect and argue for something better too. No point living in a world where we aspire to the lowest common denominator.
