Rikzilla
Watching The Happy Hob speed run Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is pretty amazing. He finished it with the bad ending in under 1 hour 20 minutes.
Sly Reflex
Give it a few months and someone will be able to ace it in 50 minutes or less. Maybe even a lower time if there's exploits that can cut corners. People that are dedicated can do scary things.
Rikzilla
According to Hob someone's already done it on 50.
one-armed dwarf
Flying back home tomorrow night. Unfortunately as I have a messed up spine I have no hope of sleeping on the flight. So I'm just probably going to drink whiskey and play FFVII on Switch. I think this is a good plan It's either that or I watch fucking Antman 2 ? Rikzilla
Anyone going to EGX Rezzed?
HandsomeDead
No. I was listening to the bombcast the other day and they mentioned a free Picross clone made by Konami. I know it's on Android but I imagine it's on the appstore too. Its called Pixel Puzzle Collection. Get on it if you want some more Picross.
Popular Post Rikzilla
First day of EGX Rezzed finished and I am knackered. Managed to play a few things; Children of Morta, a top down procedurally generated dungeon crawler rogue like. Didn't get very far, it's hard as nails and we were playing like shite. Was fun though, had some nice ideas in it so worth checking out if you're into that sort of thing. Cat Quest 2, cute action adventure game where you play as a cat AND a dog as they try to get there kingdoms back or something. Plays like the first one but now it has co-op which is nice. I like cats. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is Castlevania where the main characters clothes change whenever you equip new gear. Nothing else to say really, if you've played an Igarashi Castlevania game you know exactly what to expect. I had fun with the demo I played and am looking forward to the full release. Gat Roboto was great. It's Metroid but you're a cat in a mech suit. 10/10 game of the year. Katana Zero was cool but not really my thing. 2D kind of slash em up where you play a samurai hitman. The stage you play is him working out how he's going to do the job, then when you finish the stage it plays back as security camera footage. There's story sections in between stages where he's with a therapist talking about his dreams. Indie games are weird. Played the Binding of Isaac card game too. it's kind of like Munchkin but you use dice to fight stuff. It was actually a lot of fun. Going back for a few hours tomorrow to hopefully clear the rest of the games off my want to play list before we record a live podcast there. It's going to be nice being on stage again.
DANGERMAN
I liked Cat Quest, I'd probably play a 2nd one. And I really hope Bloodstained is good
Rikzilla
As far as I can tell if you liked Cat Quest you'll like Cat Quest 2. It's more of the same but with a dog, and the co-op is really nice. Not sure if it's online or couch only, but if you have no friends and play it on your own like some kind of loser then you can swap characters with a push of a button and use their unique skills. In the demo the dog uses his sense of smell to track down a missing cat person. Bloodstained, in the section I played, was very good. Character movement and attack feels like Castlevania, the music sounds like Castlevania, there was an abundance of weapons and armour to pick up and each felt very different. I found a pirate hat. The boss was big and horrible and ruined my day. I killed it on the second try after remembering there was a back step. I need to find the Chucklefish booth tomorrow because there's a couple of games I want to try, and Steam World Quest is there so I need to check that out too. Jimboxy
@RikSP if the Chucklefish stand has any interesting Stardew merch, can you let me know and I'll PayPal you some money to get me something? (If you don't mind obvs...?)
radiofloyd
Oh Chucklefish’s Eastward, Inmost and Pathway all look good. Have you tried Dicey Dungeons by Terry Cavanagh? It would be cool to meet him. Super Hexagon was amazing. Heaven’s Vault by Inkle looks really cool too. Also Double Fine’s Rad and Knights & Bikes. And PQube’s Songbird Symphony and Aggelos. Sly Reflex
Concerned Ape dropped Chucklefish, He does everything himself now. He's probably seen how much money it costs and decided to just take that cut himself for the work they're doing.
Maf
You know like when people say if you think of the James Bond theme it’s then impossible to recall the Mission Impossible theme or vice versa. I think the same is true for Green Hill Zone and Emerald Hill Zone music
Rikzilla
Nope.

Rikzilla
No I mean the Bond/Mission Impossible thing. I have genuinely never heard that.
Jimboxy
You can do the same thing with John Williams scores. If you start humming one, it's impossible to switch to another.
Maf
Hmm...when I google it it just comes back with a lot of YT mash ups of the songs but I think that’s a thing EDIT: Yes, the John Williams thing is also true. The Superman theme and the Star Wars theme are like that, too
