And this one is instant Mario classic. It sounds like it’s been part of the series all along

It's been long enough since I played it that I can say the novelty has worn off and I genuinely consider this a brilliant main theme. Just immediately conjures a certain atmosphere and tone at a level you very rarely see indie games pull off this confidently.

Yes, I loved that track. The radios in-world had some ok songs, but the title theme was by far the best tune in the game.

Youtube for some reason kept throwing me the KI (2013 reboot) OST in my face and I can only say I was thankful for the reminder. FYI it's by Mick Gordon who also made the modern Doom soundtracks and then had a falling out with Bethesda. I've always liked Thunder's theme in particular, though the 'heaviness' of Spinal's theme is great, too:

Fires of Rubicon's OST is kinda whatever but the AC4 soundtracks are worth listening to out of game

This is the only track I liked on AC6's soundtrack, though it is also very triggering cause of the asshole who you have to fight while it's happening

An easy favourite of a really good OST. Even more powerful in the game as it accentuates the mysticism of that specific area when you traverse it.

I haven't played Xenoblade but I did see this on youtube, sounds like a good sountrack

Everyone hated that battle theme when X first came out but it has grown on me. I'd prefer it without the vocals though I think.

 

Never posted this, but I think this is a great track and in terms of scope way beyond what you'd expect from a friggin' Marsupilami game.

I'm currently playing this little 'F'RPG Maliki: Poison of the Past which collaborated with a French band for the soundtrack and some of those tracks are really good.

 

 

 

First one is a normal battle theme, the second one from a pivotal boss battle which takes place at a concert (in the game, defeating band members results in those instruments getting cut out of the track).

Really cool boss theme I think, especially how they replay the same set of notes with different instruments throughout the song. Takes a bit to get started as well which meshes well with what happens in gameplay during these fights, too (everyone buffing themselves up first etc.).
