Yoshi’s Crafted World

Nintendo announced a new Yoshi game for Switch during its E3 2017 spotlight showcase. It will launch in 2018.

The game, which features an art style new to the Yoshi franchise, will let players explore a big world decorated like a miniature diorama, look for items throughout stages, and team up with a friend.

Hmmm

I've got a bad feeling about this one.  It looks like a Chinese knock off version of Woolly Yoshi and that jump doesn't look fun at all.

Is this by Artoon or do Nintendo have more D-list studios?

Didn't blow me away either, it looks uninspired compared to the vibrancy of Wooly World. These games are usually pretty good fun to play though, here's hoping.

It's being made by Good Feel (the team behind Woolly World), and is on Unreal 4 engine.

I think it looks great.

Oof, Something looks off for a Good Feel game.  Maybe it's just them getting used to Unreal.

Might just be me its not working for.

Yeah I'm with you @radiofloyd - it reminds me a bit of Yoshi meets Little Big Planet meets Tearaway, three games/franchises with massive amounts of charm.

 I really wanted to like it, it looked lovely, but apart from Captain Toad all Nintendo's B-tier stuff was poor last gen (I won't post in the Mario & Luigi thread)

After the last one I think I'm out. Pretty as it is, Nintendo's B-tier stuff is so boring

Wooly was a bit boring to begin with. Hopefully this is more like Yoshi games of yesteryear.
