The writing, setting, and characters are still great but some of the puzzles are really tough to work out (and I've forgotten nearly all of them). When you see the solution, you can see the line of logic. It's just not always clear to begin with. Also, I don't know how many games had them back in 98 but this one would have benefit from some kind of journal keeping track of what you need to do (and for who).
