illdog Posted August 2, 2017 Author Posted August 2, 2017 Been binge watching a ton of Summer Games Done Quick stuff over the last few weeks. This is a relay race of Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 2, Super Mario 3, Lost Levels then Super Mario World and its a warpless race. Its the best part of 3 hours but it's really good. Skip the talking at the beginning and just watch the race. 1
retroed Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Cool Ghosts is back, with a new show. It is excellent.

Craymen Edge Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 https://kotaku.com/halo-reach-players-spent-seven-years-trying-to-get-into-1823356029 Quote Halo: Reach’s ninth campaign level, The Package, has a cutscene where Noble Team goes through a destroyed science wing. This area only exists for the story—it never becomes playable, nor was it meant to be explored by real people. And so, a team of hardcore Halo fans sought to achieve the impossible: they wanted to break into a cutscene. I'm not a fan of the Halo games, but always kind of respected the way Bungie put together these spaces where players can do so many weird things.
illdog Posted March 8, 2018 Author Posted March 8, 2018 This is speedrunner Darbian trying to beat Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Super MarioWorld and Super Mario 64 collectively in under one hour:
Hendo Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 I've seen that before. The Souls community is straight up bonkers.
Hendo Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Example, this crazy bastard playing all 3 main games in a 10 hour no damage run.
Sly Reflex Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 If I was to sit and play them some sections of those games would take me 10 hours, never mind doing them all in 10 hours without getting hit.
radiofloyd Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 The Last Bible III for the Snes has been translated into English, if you fancy playing a 16bit jrpg. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/04/super_famicom_megami_tensei_spin-off_last_bible_iii_gets_translated_into_english
Bigkopman Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Really interesting article on Eurogamer about Fallout: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-04-17-the-horror-of-vault-11
DANGERMAN Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 New Vegas was fantastic, one of the few games not to get a remake/hd port that should. Vault 11 was a stand out, but a lot of the writing was great. I might give that book the dev mentions a read too (it's about 8 pages long and old enough to be a pdf online
Sly Reflex Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Apparently there's a tourist beacon near Earth in Elite Dangerous that show this when you scan it.
