one-armed dwarf Posted July 2 Posted July 2 I guess. Apparently there are two Metroids being worked on, so one of them is possibly the rumoured Super Metroid remake. I'm bummed I hated Dread so much, with the annoying robots and parrying. Wonder what it would take to get a spooky horror Metroid again rather than a flashy, annoying one.

It's because in the EU they'll now have to ship it with a replaceable battery, which is worth it for Switch 2, because that's just come up, but the redesign for Switch 1 clearly isn't worth it to them so it's just done once the stock runs out

A Zelda special 3pm Tuesday, and a normal Direct 3pm Wednesday Quote Nintendo has announced a pair of Nintendo Direct broadcasts for next week, including a dedicated Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary showcase. The Zelda Direct will air on Tuesday, September 8 at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK time, and last 30 minutes. Expect updates on the Zelda franchise, including this year's Ocarina of Time remake, and perhaps a first proper look at next year's live-action Legend of Zelda movie. Nintendo's next general Direct will then air 24 hours later, on Wednesday, September 9 at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK time, and last 45 minutes. 1
Maryokutai Posted September 4 Posted September 4 That actually makes me rather hopeful they have another cool thing lined up, if they want to get Zelda out of the way for their next normal Direct. Absolute worst-case scenario we at least get a good look at OoT, which I'm significantly more interested in since playing the StarFox remake. 1
