Usb controllers for snes-related activities...

I played through Earthbound using my keyboard but i started Secret of Mana and goddamn...not worth the agony. Rpgs are one thing but i want to play games like LttP and Super Metroid as well. So i need a controller.

I'n using Snes9x. This looks like a safe bet:

Unless someone has a better recommendation? I don't have a wired 360 controller so that's out of the question. Thanks.

I bought a USB to snes socket thing from deal extreme. That was years ago mind. Works a treat though.

I think your best bet would to be buy a wired 360 pad or grab a fightpad. I use a fightpad for all my retro gaming stuff. It cost me about £10 from HMV.

Buy a SNES.

i use a usb saturn pad for pc stuff like that, pretty damn good imo.
