retroed
I emailed them, saying I can't use the code or give to a friend. I replied to the email address that sent the code (Alex Hebert), and then thought actually maybe I should send to PlayXBLA so sent it there after. I now have two codes for Alan Wake's American Nightmare. I'll probably end up giving them away on my Twitter feed.
Sly Reflex
I want to know when they are going to throw up an achievement challenge I can claim free games for. That is pretty shitty that they give out US only stuff. Why the hell would they do that?
Tomahawk Rob
I too had the same as Ed. Have now emailed them explaining that I'm unable to redeem the Hybrid code, in the hope that I'll get something else more usable out of it... Still, nice to get some free DLC though. I was planning on picking up TS:CW at some point...
retroed
I've put the first Alan Wake code on Twitter. RT and follow, etc. Winner announced at 5pm.

Hendo
I emailed them about the Hybrid beta too and they also sent me Alan Wake. Will offer it on here first, if no-one bites I'll offer it to a couple of mates.

Hendo
Well, because I'm cheeky like that, I've given the AW code to Sly and am currently logged into my American account downloading the Hybrid beta. 1.3 GB which is a fair size.

Hendo
Triple curses, this week it's hard. http://playxbla.com/?p=8869 You need six achievements, and each game has three, so if you've only got two games you're gonna need the lot. Prize if you can do it is two XBLA codes. Fable Heroes Ruler of Albion 20 Complete all levels in the world of Albion. World Champion 20 Achieve a Gold Medal in every level. This also unlocks a tile on the Inner Board. Fast & Furious 5 Complete the Mine Cart Mini-Game in under 13 seconds. This unlocks a tile on the Inner Board. Toy Soldiers: Napalm Pack The End Of An Odyssey 10 Destroy the Homer. In Memoriam 20 Find 15 Golden Dog Tags. Heated Rivalry 20 Call in a Napalm Strike in any Versus game. Alien Hominid HD Hungry Yeti 10 Eat 50 KGB Agents with the Yeti. WMD 20 Reach 5000 Km in Super Soviet Missile Mastar. Head Chomper 20 Head bite 50 enemies without touching the ground or firing. I got Alien Hominid and that's one tough game, let alone the achievements. I'm out.
Craymen Edge
Yeah, I only had Alien Hominid, and that's really tough. Nothing for me this week. Maybe next time. (Though the codes I got last time were no use to me anyway)
Hendo
Getting harder again. http://playxbla.com/weekend-cheeve-challange-4/ You need SEVEN achievements this week, and with three games with only three achievements each, that means you need all of them Prize, as usual, two XBLA game codes. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Leader Of The Pack 30 Befriend five wolves. On A Rail 40 Travel by minecart to a point at least 500m in a single direction from where you started. The Lie 40 Bake a cake using wheat, sugar, milk and eggs! Alan Wake’s American Nightmare Poetry in Motion 20 Get a six-minute survivor streak and over 100,000 points in an Arcade level. One Day I’ll Buy a Stapler 20 Find all of the manuscript pages. Cool It 20 Make sure Dr. Meadows can take another look at the skies. Comic Jumper I Took Performance Enhancers 25 Max out all of Captain Smiley’s abilities. He Ain’t Even Married 20 Survive a specific section without getting hit. Collection of a True Fan 25 Spend your hard-earned money and buy all the unlockables from Dr. Winklemeyer. I'm out. Even if I have all those in Comic Jumper and Alan Wake, I'm not buying Minecraft for the small chance I'll win something good.
hinn888
I got 2 in Comic Jumper and 1 in Minecraft. Shame i dont have Alan Wake though. 7 achievements is harsh!
illdog
7 achievements is harsh! I dont think so, i mean you can get some good stuff. Nothing wrong with a bit of a challenge, you youngsters have gone soft.
