Uncle Dokuro Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Not bothered about Trine and NBA. Will be wanking my cock off to the rest though. Surge Deluxe if fucken amazing little puzzle game. You need to do yourself a favor and download when it's free.
AndyKurosaki Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I might actually trade in my physical copy of Dragon's Crown now... other than that can't say I'm much interested in the other stuff. Been a bit disappointed in PS Plus since Outlast released. Yeah, the PS4 stuff hasn't been great. I had high hopes for Mercernary Kings, but it's so fucking boring. It's not fit to lick Metal Slug's boots. And Stick It To The Man is on the verge of being deleted. It's painfully unfunny, and no fun to play. Still, Pixlejunk stuff is usually good.
HandsomeDead Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 From what I've heard (and sorta seen) you really shouldn't go into Mercenary Kings thinking it's in the same vain as Metal Slug. They're worlds apart. It's closer to a 2D Monster Hunter.
Sly Reflex Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 I'm actually thinking of doing a Stick it to the Man Lets Play. I don't know if the headset will pick up me talking while I record though, I need to test it. When I was playing Brothers I thought that'd be a good Lets Play, seeing as I was comparing the guys to David Jason, Ron Jeremy and Paris Hilton in my head.
AndyKurosaki Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 It's tedious is what it is. Pretty much every preview compared it to Metal Slug. It's not, but I don't have a problem with. I do have a problem with how much of a chore it is to play. You reload your initial gun constantly, it takes an age to kill enemies. Go too far, and they respawn. The boss takes the piss though. It runs away, apppearing halfway across the map. I tried to like it, I really did. It looks good, and the characters are amusing. But after 3 hours I just couldn't be arsed with it anymore. Maybe it gets better when you unlock more weapons. Maybe it's better online. But I've got a pile of far more enjoyable games to play. So fuck it.
Sly Reflex Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 Not bothered about Trine and NBA. Will be wanking my cock off to the rest though. You'll be set for Dragon's Crown then. The sorceress has cracking bangers. I'm more of an arse guy. I often eat illdogs ass while he blows my dick. His massive balls keep my chest warm.
Sly Reflex Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 You wont like it, Nag. It's miles away from what you'd consider good. It's a sedate co-op platforming puzzler.
Sly Reflex Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 I'm not saying don't try it, I'm just warning you that it'll probably bore your dick off. I don't mind games like that, but when I played through it with H I was really glad it was over. It feels like they've condensed the gentile spirit of The Last of the Summer Wine and put it into a game.
AndyKurosaki Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Not bothered about Trine and NBA. Will be wanking my cock off to the rest though. You'll be set for Dragon's Crown then. In that case sir, the Barbarian will be more appropriate. She walks round in a metal bikini with her arse hanging out. Fun for all the family.
Sambob Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Apparently he does, if you look at his post above. Edited?
Sly Reflex Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 I've not tried Lone Survivor or Dragon's Crown yet, but the other 2 games on Vita this month are really bloody good. Surge Deluxe has surprised me a hall of a lot. I'd have bought that for myself if I'd have known how nice it played.
AndyKurosaki Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 That's exactly what I thought. I wasn't expecting much, yet when I fired it up, I really enjoyed it. Always nice to be surprised like that. Lone Survivor is great, DC is bloody awesome. You enjoyed Muramasa so that'll be right up your street.
Sambob Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Been playing lone survivor a bit. Its pretty good, but I wouldn't have paid 35 quid or whatever for it. I dont really know what is going on plot wise and also sometimes gameplay wise so I get bored and then die and have to go back to the save point which is annoying because I dont remember how I get to the places im meant to get to.
Sly Reflex Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 Which is for what platform? I'm guessing Dead Space 3 is a PS3 DL. Outside of that I don't know.
DANGERMAN Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 July will see another strong selection of free games for PlayStation Plus punters to choose from in the Instant Game Collection, with PS4 owners being treated to co-op and competitive multiplayer questing in Towerfall Ascension, as well as Capcom and Double Helix's Strider game; a frenetic, neon-soaked slash 'em up. If you're aching for more PlayStation 3 action, then there's Dead Space 3 available for putting the frighteners on you, while 2D fluid-based puzzler Vessel will help flex your grey matter in between sessions of shooting marauding Necromorphs. PS Vita owners won't feel left out this month either, with LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes available to download for free, alongside Doki Doki Universe, the endearing adventure from HumaNature Studios and the man behind ToeJam & Earl. I played Vessel last year I think (didn't finish it), s'alright
Sly Reflex Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 LEGO Batman might be my lay in bed game, then.
AndyKurosaki Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Strider seems alright, I hear good things about Towerfall. Dead Space 3 is pretty meh.
HandsomeDead Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Gutted if it is only the PS4 version of Strider, I've been wanting to play that. It probably will be since it's not Cross-buy. I have a lot to catch up with anyway. I've still not touched Dragon's Crown.
