Sly Reflex
http://savygamer.co.uk/2011/06/30/steam-summer-sale/ Some silly bargains in that. All valve games for £25.
DANGERMAN
I'm going to miss most of this Less annoyed about the sale itself because I'm broke and have a stupid amount of unplayed games, but the side mission stuff was good last time, made me play things, and I wont be able to do that Also I recommend Recettear for £3.25, a mix of iphone style store management game (i dont think there is such a game but there should be) and japanese action rpg
spatular
i was tempted by the item shop thing but really i won't play it, same for vvvvvvvv. going to get chime for £1 though as i want the new songs (edit - well i would have if steam had let me). DANGERMAN
I'm sure Total War and Shogun are great games if you like that sort of thing, and Alpha Protocol seemed ok, Aliens has its moments, but generally the stuff Sega puts on sale on steam is pretty gash

radiofloyd
I would have been tempted by Cave Story and Lone Survivor but 35/40% discounts on tenner games are a bit meagre. I'm not falling for it this time!

HandsomeDead
Cave Story+ is about £4.50. Totally worth it. I bought it again and playing it again despite playing the hell out of the Wii version. I can't get it to play in wide screen, though :-(
DANGERMAN
You should all buy Ys
Craymen Edge
You should all buy Ys Y? I was trying not to buy a lot in this sale, but i've already bought Hitman: Blood Money and some Civ V DLC.

HandsomeDead
So far I've bought: Cave Story + (awesome) Terraria (Fail. I don't like it) Ys: OiF (Great) Tribes: Ascend Starter Pack (Idiotic choice for many reasons. A purchase down to alcohol) Star Wars: KotOR (Similar to the above, but not as bad and didn't cost as much) Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery (not played it yet, but I've wanted it for a while) I was pretty miffed the Super Meat Boy didn't win the 75% off vote as I would of had that, too, if it did. It went to Plants Vs Zombies... doesn't everyone not already have that?
spatular
keep checking the meat boy price DC, some of the stuff that didn't win has been getting the discount anyway, seems a bit random mind. my haul so far iirc: dirt 2 qube lara croft gol saints row 3 portal 2 indie game movie renegade ops
