Everything is plugged in, right? Those looks like extra cables for adding new sata devices.

 

You don't know what a sata device is, I'll tell you that now you own a PC this knowledge probably isn't optional anymore, you should try and figure out what this stuff means. A SATA device is something like an SSD (actually this is the only example that I can think of, so uh anyway lol). 

 

When you plug a SSD into your PC, you have a wire that goes into the motherboard. Have a look through that mess, it will have a silver clip on it probably. I think I see one in a plastic bag on the right.

 

Then you have a wire that goes into the power supply. The more chunky looking ones on the bottom of the image. 

 

Keep these stored safely somewhere, you might need them later. You probably don't need to upgrade your storage just yet though. You don't need to do anything with these cables right now, until you need to install more storage

 

Can't tell what the faraway cables are.

Next problem is I try downloading Wolfenstein 2 from Gamepass but it’s downloading at 6MB /s. My Xbox usually does 40 to 50 I think so what is wrong maybe. It’s got wired internet

Well there’s no point playing anything serious I can’t hear anything. So I thought this should be a good looking game let’s check it. But it’s so slow. It can’t be worse than the Xbox version for downloading

If your speedtest is fast then gamepass is just slow. Gamepass is crap, and you should not use it. As much as I'd like to read someone suffer through the gamepass app it's probably best you don't do that

Well I managed to download Crysis 1 but it won't launch from either the Gamepass app or EA app. This is going great lol

EA is just calling the gamepass app, probably. I think it's just a wrapper around gamepass

Well I looked for a small game and found Doom ‘93 and that launched fine. Guess I’m starting at the beginning lol

 

How do you do that thing where you know what the FPS counter is. I set it to a 144 4K but have no idea if it’s actually doing it

There's lots of monitoring tools. Geforce experience does it. I assume they installed all your GPU drivers. Press ctrl-z, you should get an overlay which will say things like 'instant replay'

 

Doesn't seem to interact well with GG Strive currently tho, I've had to start using OBS to catch replays of that. But it works with FFXIV, oddly

No to control Z. Doesn't work. I just googled it and it's saying I should download and install another thing. Getting worn out with downloading this, installing that, clicking yes a thousand times, resetting passwords. 

 

I bought that cheap Cyberpunk CD key and downloding it on GOG. Still 6mb/s. Is the PS5 really going to kill both the Xbox and PC for download speeds? That's really disappointing.

You've got to be more descriptive with this tho. Are you plugged in via ethernet? Did you do that speedtest on your PC?

Anyway this is PC gaming. It's not plug and play, this has been explained to you before, you have to be prepared to look things up and investigate. Tbh, some of these are questions you could have easily answered yourself except for the one about the cables. Just saying, not that I'm not happy to help but you need to also be able to figure things out a bit

Yes to both wired and the speed test. Maybe I need a better wire? Also no to alt z as well, didn't work

Windows key, type 'Geforce Experience'. See that is installed. You use it to download drivers.

 

 

But what is this program maxing out at 6MB/s? You say you did the speedtest on your PC and got 50, sounds like the PC is fine

 

If it's gamepass, well I'm not bothering to test that on my machine lmao.

I had to stop downloading the game but it's roughly the same as the other one. 

 

I have been googling stuff but some of the answers are complicated. I looked up the Crysis thing and found a Reddit thread about. Well, whatever, it made me lose interest. 

 

6MBs was the download speed for Cyberpunk. Seems really slow to me. 

 

I think I'm ordering speakers as well because I have no headphones to plug in to here.

Plug headphones into the PC case, there is a audio jack right on the top of it. I know this, cause I bought this case for my brother lol
