PS3 - Connection issues??

Thought i would sit down and catch up on the apprentice, i know its rubbish, but i like it. But my PS3 won't connect, ive rebooted my router, restarted the PS3 checked all the settings and nothing.

Its got that bad, ive had to switch the wii on and that works perfectly, get the feeling PSN is playing up maybe??

Any idea's i could try? apart from "have you turned it off and on again"!!

there is some work on psn today but I thought it was supposed to start later.

It has been a bit odd for me recently too. Since I changed my HDD I've not been able to get the iplayer in full screen, and for a while the play button wouldnt appear. Hopefully that's just indicative of them being about to change something and not something that isn't ever going to work right again

Don't get me wrong, i don't mind using the wii its the quality which is loads better on the ps3. Hopefully its temporary, for me its one of the biggest side piece to the ps3, its a great feature when it works.

I imagine if its maintence it'll just be a few hours.

iPlayer goes a bit squiffy on mine as well some times, but a refresh usually sorts it out.
