DANGERMAN
@Stoobie I think I'm going to just admit I'll never play Disgaea 3. I've not been back to the first one in a year and even then I clearly don't know how to do it properly to level up and get through the game quick
spatular
I much prefer games I can just dip into for 5 minutes rather than hour long sessions.Space Channel 5 part 2 Katamari Forever Nights Into Dreams Picross 3d Pilotwings thoes might be more dip into-able anyway? looked at my old list and can cross off deadly premenition and fiddy cent, and made a good start on persona 3. Sly Reflex
http://kotaku.com/5832450/nine-out-of-10-will-not-finish-the-game-they-are-playing Nine Out of 10 Will Not Finish the Game They are PlayingJust 10 percent of gamers actually finish a game, an industry veteran told CNN in a recent feature, and his colleagues and other figures back him up. "Ninety percent of players who start your game will never see the end of it unless they watch a clip on YouTube," says Keith Fuller. Raptr, the gaming social network, vouches for that, noting that only 10 percent of those in its service who have played Red Dead Redemption have finished the last mission for one of 2010's most acclaimed games. Raptr's John Lee, with a career that included executive jobs at Capcom, THQ and Sega, recalled being told the completion figure was about 20 percent. CNN goes further into the psychology of completion, games design and the pile of shame, noting that as gamers' average age gets older, they have less time for massive, 40-hour campaigns. And even if they don't have a wife and kids, "The amount of digital distractions now is far greater than it's ever been before," says Konami's Jeremy Airey. "People need time to check their Facebook, send a Twitter, be witty on their blog, play with their phone — oh, and that game you made. If they feel as though the end is far away, they'll simply say, 'I don't have time for that' and stop playing." Suddenly I don't feel so bad. wholehole
Same here. I'm in that 10% of people for Red Dead though so that makes me feel a little bit special . My problem is that I get bored very quickly or have impulses to play a certain game. I can never just stick to one specific game and see it through to completion unless it's very, very good. The end of this year is going to be a killer for this reason. I can see my pile of shame getting rather large before the year's out.

spatular
^ i've decided i'm never going to finish forza 3 been looking through my old list from 2010, i've made barely any progress finished deadly premenition and fiddy cent, and must be over half way on persona 3. played half of dead space and decided it's too scary. but also don't think i've added to the list as much as i would have in previous years because of the rental thing, have still added to it mind. stoobie
I have decided to write off most of my backlog. I just havent got the time to game that much anymore and there is no chance to go back and play everything. I have slimmed it down to Wii Xenoblade Chronicles - I am right at the end of this, just need to knuckle down and finish it. Hopefully before... Zelda : Skyward Sword - which should hopefully turn up next week with shiny gold wiimote. PS3 Back to the Future part 5 - Again, just need to sit down and do it Valkyria Chronicles - I owe it to gaming to finish it Hyperdimension Neptunia - I want to finish this just to see what on earth it is on about! 360 Gears of War 3 - this is ongoing, I love it! Dark Souls - I am nowhere near finishing this but I have to before I buy Skyrim Batman : Arkham City - Already finished, just lots of loevly riddles to solve. DS Dragon Quest XI - Again, I am right at the end of this, a character warned me to save as the final boss was just ahead. Just need to do it. Golden Sun - After Dragon Quest - this is my next DS game to play. And that is it. I have written off a lot of games, but I just dont have the time anymore.
