retroed
Eurogamer review is up. Otherwise, though, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is an unqualified triumph. It's stuffed with content but rarely for the sake of it, and knowing Criterion it will be handsomely supported for months to come, even though it's already the best pure arcade racing game since Burnout Paradise. For Need for Speed, it's a return to critical form to match, justify and potentially expand the series' enduring popularity. 9/10 I've cancelled my cheap order with Zavvi, due to being mega skint this month. I do have some Paypal funds though, so may well end up getting it from ShopTo.
retroed
Hot Pursuit seems to be getting rave reviews across the board. 9.0 from IGN, 9.5 from Destructoid, 9.0 from GameTrailers... This McLaren Snow Drift gameplay video looks pretty good. I think Criterion just can't do great demos, remembering Burnout Paradise. Demo is no longer available now, also. I'm still in two minds whether to buy or not, what with GT5 supposedly releasing at the end of the month, but it does look quite tempting. GameTrailers video review. I normally avoid watching these for spoilers, but it's a racing game. Looks good.
Pikman
GT5 will be mega boring in comparison I reckon we'll see...

retroed
Ed, you've just bought Forza 3. You don't need GT5 for a very long time. I bought Forza 3 on release. I traded it in to get the Ultimate Collection with all the DLC on the disc. It's not like I haven't played it. Still have a lot to do on it, though. GT has always been mega boring, that's part of its charm Shame that doesn't work on women as I'd be REALLY popular! Having said what I did, I fracking LOVE Forza 3. Sly Reflex
You have probably bought more games than most of us put together Ed. Out of all the people that buy games you are one of the most prolific. You are not the worst by far though, I know people on g™ who are much much worse. retroed
I am a lot more selective these days. And I think this will be one I select to purchase.
