Driver : San Francisco

Looks like they're remaking the original.

I have high hopes for this, but the ultimate team to do this would be Criterion and they're an EA company. Still, I'm staying positive.

There was a rumour on GAF that this takes place exclusively in San Francisco and that it's been replicated very closely to real life. Apparently this was by the dude that leaked the Assassins Creed Brotherhood info.

I'm interested in this too, if only for the nostalgia factor. Driver was the bomb back in the day.

I think the second one was set in San Francisco, or at least one of the levels were. The original had more of a Miami vibe.

If they're gonna make another Driver then making it like the original is the way to go. It was when they started to make it like GTA it all went wrong, if they make a well made, dedicated chase game and make if varied enough they could at least carve a niche for themselves away from GTA.

Just had a look on wiki and it was set in Miami, San Fran, Los Angeles and New York City, which I'd forgotten.

I associate the first game mainly with San Francisco because I bought Bulitt around the same time on VHS. Ah, PS1 game cases and VHS tape - I feel old.

Hmm, my memories of Driver 1 and 2 must have merged together.

And Driver 3 was a PS2/Xbox game. I played it a lot, I may of even finished it but it's an experience I'd rather forget.

Some of it looks pretty cool, and at least they seem to have got back to the old school police chases like Driver should be. Unsure about the out of body stuff (LOL Coma), but we'll see.

And I really hope this has the video editor.
