iphone broke :-(

Well its nearly 2 years old and the damn thing broke yesterday! stuck in a reboot loop, seems the on/off button is stuffed. Done a full charge, and a full restore but nope its broke.

Was hoping to hold out for a new ver4 iphone, but i can't wait till then, and the fact i want to watch footie on my iphone during the world cup meant i succumbed to O2. Gave them a ring £28 and a 2 year contract and my new iphone is on its way to me, 16gb 3gs.

If anyone knows a fix to my iphone, let me know i have a 14 day cooling period.

Sounds pretty much fucked, yeah.

The 4th iPhone won't be out for at least a couple of months (is there a date for the announcement yet?) so it's either go with something else, sit and wait with no phone or get something cheap to do the job until then.

So an update, popped to my local apple store just to see if the iphone was def knackered, spent 30mins with a genius yep he confirmed its dead, and sorry also 6 months out of warranty, so he pops off didn't say why, just i will be back in 5 mins taking my phone with him. A couple of minutes later he returns and tells me he has more bad news, that he can't transfer my apps etc to my new phone...new phone?? yep they replaced it there and then.

All i can say is, well above what i expected, may think again if i need something that i can get from apple! That extra cost is worth it after service i got today!!
