More problem with my Pc. It now turns out that I need a new power supply unit, or to amalgamate two of my Hard drives with a bigger drive. Maybe I should invest in this one.

it has Dual CPU Sockets, 4-way SLI, 8 Phase PWM, up to 48GB of Memory, USB 3.0, and SATA III. Oh, and it's got a pretty red and white colour scheme. Only £500. Who wants one?

Apparently, the new service pack for Windows 7 will let you dole out ram on a server to the connecting pc's, to give them a boost. Not as quick as on-board ram, but faster than virtual memory.

Win32 Ramnet B has been the bane of my weekend. My pc picked it up after my daughter tried playing a flash game on the net. The thing is it replicates faster than it can be cleaned, and forces a format on you as the only way to clean your pc.

The fucking wankers who spend their time making these things, just to get a cheap thrill should be minced up and fed to the fucking crows. Bloody well go out and find a life, or at least a quick lay.

hmm, not sure how to sort this. For some reason Opera is logging me out of all my accounts/forums as soon as i log in. Including ones that it usually keeps me signed into regardless of whether it's been turned off. Chrome is working fine and I've reinstalled opera, but it's still doing it.

I dont think it's a virus, I've already ran a full scan to be sure, and like I say chrome is working fine. However it happened after I downloaded a video from a warez forum, I didnt unzip anything or run an exe, just played the avi

oh and ive tried changing passwords and it's still signing me out as soon as i sign in.

Does Opera have add-ons and the like, like Firefox. I don't use Opera myself, although I had a similar problem with Firefox back along. I had to un-install some of the add-ons.

Yeah mate. SATA 2 is backward compatable.

My original problem way back in post 1 of this thread has returned. My music's fine this time, but my harddrive is dyeing again. Fortunately it's not the 2tb one I got at christmas, rather it's the Western Digital I bought to replace my original WD.

I guess I don't really need to buy a new HDD, the 2tb will be enough, but I might still, and maybe even see if I can get my money back from amazon for the WD one (never again)

With the price of hard drives being so cheap, I'd still buy a new one, unless you're really broke. Definatly try for a refund from Amazon. You could also try re-partitioning the drive. That can sort a lot of drive probs. I'll take you through it, if you decide to try it.
