hinn888 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Ive been looking into blu ray for a while and decided to buy a blu ray player, does anyone know any decent cheapish ones and thing things i should be looking out for? I dont want a PS3 (Slim) anymore. Ive already ordered a few blu rays to get me going.

As for what to get, I don't really have much advice other than I believe the Sony and Samsung players to be up there in the quality area. The PS3 is a damn fine player though, and the official Blu-Ray remote is pretty sweet too. I'd go for the new PS3 if it was me, at least you then have the option to get the odd exclusive game, should one take your fancy.

hinn888 Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 Got a Samsung BDP 1500 now, with 2 harry potter blu rays which i probably sell straight off, and a HDMi cable, £135, got a pretty cool deal.
