Basically my mac fell off the sofa and has died, phoned insurance company on the off chance it may be covered and yep it is! accidental cover so all good. The company which deals with laptop replacements have called and basically they won't give me a new mac has to be PC. I haven't brought a PC for many years so what sort of spec should i be looking for?? I want to do work stuff, play a few games, iphone stuff etc.. You won't get a good gaming laptop for under a grand, i don't think anyway. i brought this one recently http://www.ebuyer.com/product/164845 so far ive been very impressed with it. Manicm Posted June 24, 2009 Author Share Posted June 24, 2009 Its an old Powerbook G4, and tbh i didn't even think they would replace it, as it accidently fell off the sofa, knackered all the ports on the left side, none of them work and the damn thing won't always switch on even.
