Manicm Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 I didn't get the 120gb for chrimbo i thought i was getting, but i did get the 60gb, but its odd, 10gb is missing?? have i missed something?? ive deleted the game demo's and other rubbish it came with but still 10gb a drift, i remember someone saying why somewhere but ive forgot why. Or do you mean you've been using it and then suddenly you lost 10g of space? If it's the second I've no idea but if it's the first, all HDD's aren't as big as they are advertised as being. I think when I got my Elite I found out that it was actually about 107 g of space or something, rather than 120. I think it's something to do with space being lost when it's being formatted but maybe not the same amount each time so they can't guarantee exactly what size it will be? Manicm Posted January 19, 2009 Author Share Posted January 19, 2009 Been searching the net, apparently the 360 uses a portion of the drive for steaming video and cache of games etc, so thats why its only 50gb, pity but its still bigger than the previous one!
