I'm listening to a bunch of episodes of Milton Jones Radio 4 comedy programs: The Very World of Milton Jones, and Another Case of Milton Jones.

Excellent, really funny stuff.

Went round to a mate's last night and he's lent me a couple of CD's (remember them?) that I should listen to - Deer Tick "Born On Flag Day" and Murder By Death "Good Morning, Magpie". Knowing him, they'll be alt-country type affairs.

Also the other day I downloaded the free EP from a band called Featherface as they were pimped on the Weekend Confirmed podcast, and it's free.

not sure of people's opinions of the Chemical Brothers here, but I'm listening to the new album at the moment (on spotify ) and its excellent. Really well crafted electronica, has all the highs and lows in the right places. I imagine it would be excellent live. It has that usual chems sound, but with non of the recent collaborations (not even noel gallagher ) so it has a much more focused feel to it. Very good if its your bag.

Best thing about my new job is that they don't mind me using earphones while I work, which is good as it coincides with me still importing all my CD's.

Yesterday it was Kate Bush "Aerial", Dr Dre "The Chronic", Nine Inch Nails "The Fragile", Nine Inch Nails "With Teeth" and the Bugsy Malone soundtrack.

The Fragile is still as awesome as ever and With Teeth is still 50% meh and 50% genius.

Still importing my CD's

Mind you, it reminds me of albums I'd forgot that I have. So yesterday I spent my day listening to the early albums of Marilyn Manson which brought back some good and bad memories from college. I also started the American series of albums by Johnny Cash, "Astro Creep 2000" by White Zombie, "Coles Corner" by Richard Hawley, "The Best of" Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and ended up driving home to Nina Simone.

Also, I just noticed Spotify are doing a new subscription level - no ads but without the iDevice options for £4.99/month. Quite tempting.

I've become slightly obsessed with inception at the moment. Been listening to the original score on Spotify. Its really great, really intense dramatic stuff. Little over cooked and obvious perhaps, but I'm really enjoying it.

I bought Arcade Fire's new album on Amazon last night. £3.99 today only, for the mp3 download. Amazon's system works flawlessly, it automatically put the album into my iTunes.

Not only is that one hell of a band name, but the song I listened to (Zoe Machete Control) was amazing. $8 dollars for the album, and if it's as good as 12 minutes of song I've heard then that's a bargain
