Hendo
Gave this a quick blast last night, only did the training section and I had a bit of a problem landing my tricks. I never played this one before, but I loved the Cube version. It's not as bad looking as I feared but I may have been spoiled in starting on the Cube version. Might have to fire that back actually. One of the few games I 100% completed. Any tips for landing?
spatular
this is a great game but like you say, landing is really hard, you need to line up the board flat with the ground (or maybe with the back a little lower than the front?) and maybe press z just as your about to land iirc? Centy
I think you need to tap Z just as your landing to soften it and make sure you're coming in at an angle where the back of the board hits just before the front. You'll get the hang of it eventually but the trick system is quite different to Avalanche in that they are far harder to pull off but much more rewarding when you can do 1080s. Landing is always about doing it almost dead straight there isnt the same wobble meter thing for crap landings like the cube has.
David
I might just treat myself to this.
