Got to admit to being pretty jealous of that TV Nag

Nice TV Nag. I won't be joining the 4K club for a while yet. I can't really justify it. And my wife still says she can't tell the difference between standard definition and high definition on our regular 49 inch living room TV. It's all the difference in the world to me. I've even shown her by changing between SD and HD versions of the same channel.

There's one on Amazon right now for £400 I'd take today (I'd double check its not secretly shit) (43' HDR Samsung LG)  but I don't get paid until Black Friday

edit: I've managed to find some specs for that tv, it's an 8bit panel, I want 10 (apparently) so it's a naw

Cool. I'm liking mine and yours should be a lot better. HDR while playing a game seems to introduce some input lag though, might not be noticeable on most games but it was on Parapa

Nice one @Nag that's the exact tv I'm after I think. Samsung UE55KS7000? I cheekily tried to barter curries down from £949 in the black Friday deal. I'm waiting till nearer march to pounce

I haven't got a fancy 4K telly and I noticed a load of lag on the Parapa demo.

Putting your TV in game mode should sort it, but apparently the last port they did of it (Vita?) had the same problem

@Nag Nice. One of the reasons I chose this was the decent input lag on game mode. 21ms. I'll be playing games on that. Look forward to the pics

That Samsung TV dropped into my price range (>900) so I went for it. John Lewis has a 30 day price match apparently so should cover me if it sneaks lower

I checked my *secret stash* and i have 350 so I reckon around March I might get a pro for Mass Effect. That series I loved, so a visually enhanced version gives me a stiffy 

 

I should also have enough for a 2TB HDD by then

Sexy TV is installed but not had chance to try it out yet. Bloody work n family gatherings 

 

Dont know about you @Nag but mine barely, just barely, fit on my TV unit. I'd read\heard the feet were at the edges of the TV leading to some complaints. It's so close I've taken to screwing extra bit of wood on the end of the unit incase it moved\knocked

deep colour is HDR isn't it? do you need to turn something on on your tv?

Yeah got PS4 @Nag  I'll keep a look out. I've had picture loss before but that was HDMI issue. Not heard of this TV doing it but I'll know soon I suppose  I've heard of motion issues which needs to be disabled in the TV menus to eliminate the problem.

Ok so a good few hours Dooming and no picture loss. It's not a ps4 pro so don't know if anything funny goes on with that.
