DANGERMAN Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Could be a bit tidier, but it's still not all set up yet. And as you might spot, the pc doesnt fit under my desk <a href="http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c194/goukiband/?action=view¤t=IMAG0007.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c194/goukiband/IMAG0007.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> Edit: Plastic's all gone off the telly now thanks to Sly. It wasn't just on the stand, it was still surrounding the screen too <a href="http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c194/goukiband/?action=view¤t=IMAG0002.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c194/goukiband/IMAG0002.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> I've got a black Saturn too, that's boxed away, need to get SSF working again then hopefully i'll never need to deal with its fucked cartridge slot ever again. Also that's the Vengeance trilogy box set (complete with Old Boy hammer), Nirvana box set thing, and on top the Alice in Chains rarity vault collection <a href="http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c194/goukiband/?action=view¤t=IMAG0003.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c194/goukiband/IMAG0003.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> The stack of discs in the middle are all promos I've been sent, but aside from that the 360/PS3 have been hit by trade ins. <a href="http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c194/goukiband/?action=view¤t=IMAG0005.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c194/goukiband/IMAG0005.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> In terms of rare stuff a few of those neo geo pocket games are hard to get, I've got the Shining Force 3 trilogy on the saturn, Trizeal and Karous on the Dreamcast (not sure where the case is for Radirgy, but the game is in the Dreamcast) That's not everything, there's a few games with other people, my peripherals are all packed away, as are my PS2, xbox and Cube games. Also I've got about 60 Dreamcast games in a cd wallet, with all their proper boxes cluttering up my parents house
Sly Reflex Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Is the PS3 that ugly you have to hide it behind the TV? I have that problem with my keyboard Ben, it's just a fraction too wide to sit sit in the allocated spot. I was so annoyed when I installed it. EDIT: I love how the protector is still on the tv stand. I left mine on for about 6 month too, until I finally bit the bullet and realised I would just have to dust the set on a weekly basis.
retroed Posted July 18, 2010 Author Posted July 18, 2010 How many Wii games. Does the PS3 get enough ventilation there? It looks like it's right up against the curtain. It could just be the way it looks in the pic, though. Good to see some GBA stuff, and the DS games.
Cyberpunk Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Ed's been nagging me about posting my new bedroom tv, and Xbox, so here it is. New 22inch LCD tv, from Tesco. Nothing special, but it has a nice picture, good contrast, no ghosting, and was cheap. And a new Xbox 360 250gb Slim with the matt finish, as my old one broke. It's very nice, and so much quieter than the old gen 1 arcade I had.
wholehole Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Nooooo don't get rid of the stereo, it's so retro-awesome! Don't make them like that any more
Sly Reflex Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 We used to have an Aiwa. I think they got bought by Sony. I have not seen any Aiwa stuff on shelves for ages.
DANGERMAN Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Yeah, it is.... got to be about 14/15 years old now, you'd never know that one of those speakers has has been submerged in a river (and still works perfectly). are you sure it wasn't the.... wait for it.... *giggle*... sub-woofer

dante76 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 You know you're old when a stereo with red and green lights on it isn't retro to you. Heck, mine's got a turntable built in...

hinn888 Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Heres mine It's a 40" Sony 1080P 3D LED TV and got a JBL Creature inside the unit.
Hendo Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Before I get another database error message, better post this quick. Bought a new TV stand to put my old one (actually an old PC desk) to use as a home studio. Sacrificed the Dreamcast and PS2 to the cupboard.
Craymen Edge Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 No pictures cos I'm at work, but I bought myself a LG 23" LED 1920x1080 monitor for my pc. It looks so sleek and unbelievably thin! Awesome for 130 squids. I also got a super sexy £90 pair of SoundScience QSB speakers, but they didn't work so have gone back for a refund. I bought a £5 pair of cube speakers from a computer shop round the corner as a stop-gap measure, but they turned out to be really good, shockingly good for that price. So I'm keeping them instead.
retroed Posted November 16, 2012 Author Posted November 16, 2012 Here's my current setup. Same TV so didn't bother taking a picture of that. My go-to games now in cases alongside the Blu-rays. Humax HDR-FOX T2 500GB Freeview HD recorder. SONY BDP-S185 Blu-ray player. Super Famicom modified to accept US carts, blue LED, RGB SCART. Xbox 360 320GB Halo 4 Limited Edition.
Sly Reflex Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 I love the fact that the SNES is present. Roots brother!
Sly Reflex Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 It also annoys me greatly how they made your email address present in the top. A totally unneeded addition.
DANGERMAN Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I'm back at my parents today, they want me to sort through some old stuff so they can throw it away. In practice this has just meant putting most of it in the spare wardrobe out of sight, but I've taken photos of some of the gaming stuff I have here That's not all my Dreamcast stuff, just the cases I left behind. A couple of the games are still sealed too
DANGERMAN Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 And if you've ever wondered what a treamcast controller looks like
