illdog
The lucky Japs and Yanks got this, Blighty didnt, so if you want one, Ebay my friends. I paid £90 for my American VB with three games and an AC charger, so i thought that was a good deal. I was very drunk whilst bidding on it tho. So here's the box: Upon opening it you are greeted with a big egg carton containing: Pull out the important bits. You have the tripod, the pad and the Head Unit: Ooh, look at that. Thats what you look intoo that. The rubber eyes surround gets all sweaty: Dink in a game(Mario Tennis on this occasion) into the front cart slot: Plug the pad into the underside of the Head Unit: The pad contains the On/Off switch incase you were wondering. Add the tripod and your ready to play: Or try free hand!: If only this came with a rad headband:

illdog
But its awsome! And it was innovation, something new, just at a time when the world wasnt ready for such a gimmick I suppose gaming hadnt become so stagnant, graphical power was still on the up and up. I love my Virtual Boy, everyone should own one.
Oliath
you look phuking cool wearing it too! does it run on batteries? im thinking... wear it on the bus :-) so what are the games and graphics like dude?
illdog
Yea it runs on batteries dude, it takes about 3000 AA's. Not so much bus wear man, more a doctors waiting room toy - or at a funeral. I only have 3 games. Mario Tennis is cool, V-Tetris is just Tetris and Vertical Force is a top down shoot em up that is kinda cool as it has two layers, top and botoom. Need more but they be expensive little buggers. Hendo
Don't know how practical this is, but are there any screenshots of the games lurking round interweb? How powerful is it? We talking Gameboy or GB Colour?
