    Fortnite

Yeah could be asking for a for a fortnite/epic account like you say i think that sounds plausible, if so they might be able to skip that bit (if skipped it will probably create a headless account), or just create an account.

    Ghostrunner 2

finished this now, its really awesome at times, some of the cool stuff you can do is pretty amazing, some really cool bits with the bike and Super difficult still so can be pretty annoying. think a bit easier than the first game though. took about 19 hours and i estimate around 1900 deaths! On pc it was crashing on a boss fight, changing to dx11 fixed it. so yeah totally awesome to the max but also there is some pain that comes with it.
  3. Yeah i read it might block some of the brook adapters, which could be pretty crappy.
  4. think my favourites are wave race 64, pikmin, mario kart, zelda twilight princess, jungle beats.

Theres a demo apparently if anyone wants to try it, and apparently in the demo theres a motorbike section, took me ages to get to this in the full game but just got hold of the motorbike last night and really enjoyed that bit. edit - the first bike bit was great, then it gets to a more open world which i was not expecting, not sure what i think to it yet, did find a race/challenge thing which was cool though.

    Ghostrunner 2

its just like the first game really, so to avoid explaining it again: yeah its frustrating and annoying but also really good. Recommended. At the start the platforming was a bit easy but the combat was super difficult, so i was hoping the platforming would get a bit more involved and the fighting would get easier, but what happened was it got a lot more difficult, should have expected that. Theres a new bit where you walk around a base and talk to people inbetween levels which is a bit odd but doesnt take long. Graphics are nice and performance is good, and the music is good too. So yeah if you like the first one, or thought neon white was too easy, you might like this. anyone getting it?
  7. Think ive done everything im going to do now, done all the levels i can and got all the seeds. Think there might be a few levels hidden behind stuff i cant be bothered with like one badge is still locked too. yeah it was good fun.
  8. Oh yeah i forgot to mention the badges. The badges are cool, they give you special powers (can only use one at a time), ranging from small things like a mushroom at the start of every stage, or a higher jump, to a sort of I like that you could try these to help make a stage a bit easier rather than going straight for one of the invincible characters. also saw the credits last night but theres still quite a few levels i havent done, especially the ones in the
  9. I still want to get it too but will wait till its cheap or something, shame it sounds a bit botched.
  10. Seems pretty good. initially was a bit disapointed as its more like a traditional mario game than i was expecting, thats on me as i only watched the first trailer and thought it was going to be even more crazy. Anyway, it is a somewhat crazy and pretty cool! Been really enjoying it. i want some flowers like that in real life that give me some encouragement and stuff. the crazy bits are a bit hit and miss, well hit and less of a hit as some are a lot of fun and others are less so, wouldnt say anything has been bad so far. the levels are rated for difficulty, the hardest one ive done was 5 stars, dont know if it goes higher, but that level was really hard but i enjoyed it too. i dont like the old style lives system, although to be fair running out of lives wasnt as annoying as i was expecting. the graphics are nice. So far its probably up there with my favourite 2d mario game - the wii u one - was sort of hoping a bigger 2d mario fan would start the thread but here we are! seen a few people got it in the pics thread, how you guys getting on with it?
  11. Arguing about dpads is more important but i did get some games too, over the last month or so, some of them were £4, some were more.
  12. Best dpad on a standard console controller since the saturn for me, ive 1ccd some shmups with it. Might take some getting used to, or maybe youll just hate it mind.

    Forza Motorsport

Im enjoying it but not as much as i did 7, in some ways anyway, well the single player, i think ive not had a big enough gap from playing something similar as i was playing GT about once a week till quite recently, and i need to be in the right mood to play something like this, which im not sure i am, and the single player doesnt really feature racing cars which i much prefer, although the normal cars in this handle pretty well so its not been too bad there. The single player seems pretty good im just not that into it and for some reason want to finish it. i have played a bit online with a friend and done a little rivals stuff both those i enjoyed a lot more than the single player mode. the AI seems slightly better than in 7 from what i remember but still pretty crap like it is in most racing games. Ive had some crashes on xbox. it doesnt throw cars at you like some previous forza games, i quite like having cars thrown at me. Although not had any money problems, been able to buy the next car i need no problem. Would have liked to be able to buy more racing cars though. In rivals or online you seem to be able to just lend any cars you need. the car upgrade system that i still think is stupid has caused me zero problems so far in the actual game.
  14. Yeah usually if i see the credits ill count something as complete, well in a single player story game anyway. Shmups and rhythm games, or any short game i like (rez) are different as ill often play them through loads of times. Or racing games i might finish the main game but keep playing the timetrials. Sometimes if i really enjoy a game i might play past the credits, if possible.
  15. Im not too bothered about the wire, but maybe thatll change once ive tried one that doesnt need the wire! Shame to hear not much is happening on pcvr, ive sort of ignored it for a while thinking id get back into it with a headset upgrade. Also yeah agree there isnt much in the way of new killer apps, i still want to play re4, and the piano AR thing looks cool.
  16. Quest 3 is out now, been watching reviews and stuff on youtube, price is high, but i think i will end up getting one at some point, been wanting to upgrade my vr for a while now, its not perfect but think it will be the best option for me, no rush as theres loads of games coming out at the moment, so even if i got one right now doubt i would use it much.

you can skip the practice i think but its a bit hidden in the pause menu under exit i think, and maybe the initial ones are mandatory. i only played a little bit but initial impressions are good. The tracks and handling seemed good which is the main thing for me. yeah the having to level up each car to upgrade it seems stupid, see how it pans out
  18. Yeah i mean i like physical because i like the idea of having stuff to play in the future when the online stuff is turned off but thats becoming pointless with day 1 patches/ updates etc. physical still makes sense if you get stuff day 1 as its often cheaper in the launch period.

I didnt realise it was related to limbo/inside. Id say i like those games but not a massive fan if that makes any sense played it over the last few days, and it didnt really grab me at the start, think it gets better/more interesting near the end, the ideas near the end are pretty clever but similar to mfnick, i thought moving the stuff around got a bit boring and could have done with a way to speed it up. So for me i quite liked it near the end, but it doesnt live up to high review scores and whatnot
  20. Hmm, maybe i wont play it tonight, thanks for the heads up!
  21. about 25 to 30 hours i think so far, still playing it doing some more of the new stuff. yeah im also not great at stealth and end up shooting everyone. One of the problems with stealth is the lack of stuff/xp compared to shooting everyone and picking up all their stuff. think i was rushing through the dlc a bit, last night did a side mission thing taking my time and being more stealthy (although a few people still got shot) and it was really good fun. think one of the dlc perks really helps with stealth (people lose track of you when you use camo) but what perk is doing what is a bit confusing when you pick 30 new ones in one go. Still not tried jumping out of a car in a cool way.
  22. Went back to this to play the dlc, had a bad start with it because i was unlucky right at the start kicking off a big fight thats not supposed to happen which also sort of bugged out the person your supposed to talk to, and all the new stuff and my bad memory makes going back to games difficult, and after that ive probably had more bugs than i did first time round too which is probably unusual. Still enjoyed the dlc though, some parts were really good, and theres been some definite improvements to the game since release, the shooting with a pad is miles better now with the auto aim, seems like some good improvements to stealth too, although i wasnt trying super hard to be stealthy in the dlc. Theres more upgrades that would help with stealth stuff anyway. I still have problems with dlc in general like i probably didnt care about the characters and stuff as much as i would have if id just played the rest of it.
