Finally, the technology has caught up to Miyamoto's original vision

ED2 is a quasi remake of the first one, but with a bigger budget, it is the best of them all, but they're all great. There is an alt ending for Army of Darkness that I believe is now the "cannon" ending, but it doesn't really matter, it doesn't need over thinking.

Nice of them to show the entire movie in the trailer I guess.

Funny thing about my Jedi Survivor counter pick. I thought I was trying to outbid you for it, not counter pick it, so not only have I lost 16 points, but it cost me $25 as well

Season 3 Barry continued to be excellent. It feels like is has ditched the comedy pretext by this point and is just a very dark drama punctuated with some very funny (and dark) moments. Some genuinely shocking moments in season 3. I was going to pause before starting season 4 to watch Succession instead but ended up watching the first episode last night anyway

I can't really work out who this is aimed at, is it kids, grown up nerds, both? Some of the franchises included are very adult, but it looks to play like a Tell Tale Lego game. This trailer has been popping up loads in my Facebook feed as it turns out I was following a load of films that is included in this and they've all awakened like sleeper agents and are spamming the trailer

I'm not even sure what Microsoft or Activision are contributing to the UK economy anyway, they make it sound like they're building fucking xboxs in Slough or something. Pretty sure they both do naff all here

I've got zero expectations going into the new Scream so that actually gives me some hope I might enjoy it. I didn't think I was that invested in the Scream franchise until that last one came out and pissed all over the original films. I've also been meaning to watch that Evil Dead remake again as well as I remember it being pretty good

You'd have to go down the FF7 remake route with it, but lean super into the meta side of it as well. They should probably leave Snake well alone without Kojima's involvement though

Oh man it is so good. There is an episode in series 2 that comes a bit out of left field that is absolutely perfect. As it goes on in leans more into dark drama with comedic overtones instead of comedy drama. It reminds me a little bit of Dexter when it was good

Now TV played me a trailer for the new series before the episode I'm watching now, which was nice of them

I don't think I've seen anything obvious so far, maybe once I watch more I'll realise though. I'm annoyed that even the new adverts for Barry show some pretty bad spoilers, but it is a great show though

It took me 3 goes, but I'm enjoying Succession now, but it's gone on hold for the moment as I'm enjoying Barry more

I'd like a live action Mario Bros movie, preferably with a slightly awkward dystopian cyberpunk setting for no justifiable reason

I'm surprised from reading back over this how much we all seemed to like IV (I know I had a good time with it, but history doesn't seem to have been kind to it) and how short the main game seemed to be. I'm tempted to replay it, as I never played the DLC but it seemed to be full priced still, so no dice

We only watched maybe one and a half episodes of Severance before committing to Foundation and Mythic Quest instead, which was probably the wrong choice

Started this last night, played up to the first "TV Episode" and watched that. Seems good so far, I do hope the TV show segments do something subvertive or clever and are not just there to move the plot forward. I know you can change elements of the show by your actions in the game. They do feel a bit odd, similar to those PS1/CD-i games that really upsold on the fact they had fully acted cut scenes, partially due to the production quality of them as well (Sci-Fi channel quality is probably being kind) so to have them there, and the quality to be poor AND to ask you to watch them for 20 mins at a time, to then not do anything smart with them will be frustrating. In terms of the gameplay, I liked what I've done so far, I can see how the time altering combined with gun play should be fun and I seem to be doing ok with it so far, it was a little odd how Jack just seemed to crack on with the blasting of faceless goons without missing a bit, but elements of his backstory seem to be creeping out from the flavour stuff you find kicking about. It looks nice on Series S, is a little stuttery though in the cut scenes, but I've moved it to my internal drive now so that may help with that. The movement feels a bit clunky, with Jack looking like a time stopping killing machine that shat himself at some point (I guess becoming a time manipulating demi god might cause that to happen) and it goes that odd thing of people bumping it to things and stopping in an odd floaty way before moving again which is fine, but feels dated. Apart from that, looking forward to picking it up again, I do enjoy a time travel paradox story and they seem to have done some research into making it as believable as these things can be (I'm pretty sure the guy behind the movie Primer might be involved as it has some similar concepts going on)

I'd never really heard of Quantum Break before from completely missing the Xbox last generation, so I've just bought it to, it sounds good
