  1. Something I didn't figure out with loot until quite a while into the game: you can send stuff to camp and it will appear in your camp chest. Don't bother carrying camp supplies with you, just send it to camp and it's still available when take a long rest. Mark stuff you intend to sell as 'wares' and you can filter to view that stuff in the trade screen. Also use your party as mules to avoid encumbrance.
  2. Pentiment (PC) Case Of The Golden Idol (PC) Hidden Through Time (PC) Hi-Fi Rush (PC) Sniper Elite 5 (PC) Supraland: Six Inches Under (PC) GTA V (PC) SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech (PC) Venba (PC) Super Catboy (PC) Tyranny (PC) Baldur's Gate 3 (PC) My first entry in here in a long time. I was playing this since late August, with the occasional week's break. I absolutely loved it.
  3. I don't really play many multiplayer or survival games these days, but the idea of one massive single location is interesting, like a reverse No Man's Sky.
  4. 140hrs. I haven't played a lot in the last few weeks. I reached a point of no return warning in the last act on my last session, but there are some questlines I want to finish up before moving on.
  5. Dates are in the article here. 9th November, so it wasn't on GP yet when you first searched. https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2023/10/31/game-pass-november-2023-wave-1-announce/ I think I'm only up to Yakuza 5, so I'll probably miss the game pass window on these.
  6. I just started this afternoon. So many unskippable cinematics.
  7. These things are always changeable based on mood, recalling games I'd forgotten about etc. but this is a fairly representative selection.
  8. The ones with really fine ground actual coffee in with the freeze dried stuff, which doesn't dissolve so the bottom of the cup just ends up as mud.

  10. Three years later. Did Activision forget they had it?
  11. I'm in the office today so can't watch it, but theres a Twitch stream of D&D with the voice actors for Lae'zel, Asterion, Gale, Wyll, Shadowheart and Karlach. https://www.twitch.tv/highrollersdnd

Their response to people asking how they intend to discount repeat installations, charity bundles, giveaways and other installations that don't come from a sale is basically "We can't tell you, but trust us".
  13. Brilliant game, also it's mega expensive for Gamecube these days (I sold mine for £130 a couple of years ago) so it's great that it's more easily available again.
  14. Had an interesting moment today, where a character I pushed off a bridge to her death earlier turned up leading an attack on the druid camp at Emerald Grove.
  15. Pentiment (PC) Case Of The Golden Idol (PC) Hidden Through Time (PC) Hi-Fi Rush (PC) Sniper Elite 5 (PC) Supraland: Six Inches Under (PC) GTA V (PC) SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech (PC) Venba (PC) Super Catboy (PC) Tyranny (PC) Another classic crpg style game from Obsidian, I think originally came out between the Pillars of Eternity games. The angle of you being a cog in the machine of a conquering tyrannical empire is an interesting one. It feels a little like maybe they ran out of time or money in some areas, but the story and characters were entertaining.
  16. Pentiment (PC) Case Of The Golden Idol (PC) Hidden Through Time (PC) Hi-Fi Rush (PC) Sniper Elite 5 (PC) Supraland: Six Inches Under (PC) GTA V (PC) SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech (PC) Venba (PC) A very short narrative game about an Indian couple who immigrate to Canada in the 80's. Themes of retaining your culture vs. fitting in, prejudice, food, family, loss. I enjoyed it, I finished it within about 90 minutes so people will have different opinions if that's worth the asking price of nearly £13 to them. Luckily it's on Gamepass. Super Catboy (PC) Cheep and cheerful 90's console inspired 2D platformer with great pixel graphics and music. I somehow noticed it on release day and got for £6.80 with a launch discount, it's still cheap at regular price. Nothing too challenging beyond the obligatory couple of annoying levels, I thought it was pretty fun.
  17. I don't pay a lot attention to game announcements these days, and often don't look at trailers or videos until a game is imminent. The last time I did really pay attention to upcoming games was probably around the Xbox 360, The game I remember being most hyped for was either Left For Dead or Mass Effect (1 and 2), I spent a lot of time reading about those.
  18. Pentiment (PC) Case Of The Golden Idol (PC) Hidden Through Time (PC) Hi-Fi Rush (PC) Sniper Elite 5 (PC) Supraland: Six Inches Under (PC) GTA V (PC) SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech (PC) SteamWorld's take on a deck-builder rpg. I like all the SteamWorld games to date, this one was great, but Heist or maybe Dig 2 are still top of the pile.
  19. Pentiment (PC) Case Of The Golden Idol (PC) Hidden Through Time (PC) Hi-Fi Rush (PC) Sniper Elite 5 (PC) Supraland: Six Inches Under (PC) GTA V (PC) This was given away free on Epic a while ago. I don't know what drove me to play it now, but it's the first time one of these has ever kept me interested long enough to complete it. I think the three character system helped somewhat. The main story heist missions were all quite enjoyable, some of the other side stuff less so - being a little repetitive and formulaic. Playing it was still clunky in some areas, but it's the most playable GTA has ever been. I had to remind myself it came out on 360 & PS3 and remember to give it some leeway for that. For the final mission I chose option C which lead to some fun sequences, but I have to admit I hovered over the kill Trevor option for a while first.
  20. Pentiment (PC) Case Of The Golden Idol (PC) Hidden Through Time (PC) Hi-Fi Rush (PC) Sniper Elite 5 (PC) Supraland: Six Inches Under (PC) I think this was originally meant to be DLC for Supraland, but it grew into a strange standalone expansion/semi sequel. There's still a proper sequel (Supraworld) in development. It manages to have mostly all original locations, but uses many of the upgrades of the original. It's fun like the original, with some enjoyable puzzles.
  21. Pentiment (PC) Case Of The Golden Idol (PC) Hidden Through Time (PC) Hi-Fi Rush (PC) Sniper Elite 5 (PC) Been in a bit of a slump, gaming wise for the last month or two, just not sticking with anything. I fired this up on game pass because I remember trying one of the others for a couple of hours during a free weekend on Steam and finding it silly fun. This ended up really getting it's hooks in me. I spent ages exploring all over the level maps finding intel leading to side objectives, and loads of time trying to wipe out enemies without being seen or heard.
