Dreamcast day Bleemcast was a PS1 emulator for the Dreamcast, it had 3 special releases that really boosted the specific games, this is the Metal Gear Solid one with a copy of the game Power Stone 2 is significantly cheaper for the Japanese version than the PAL version, so yeah, Japanese version it is. Fast Striker I got a pretty good deal on. It's a post death indie game, but from what Spatular told me it is on modern systems too, might be a decent shooter

Picked up a speccy,same model had as a kid, box is a little worn but face of it is great, Not got scope to test it for a while but should towards end of the week. Just need to get rid of 2nd hand smoke, also might send it off to get recaped, and add RGB hard mod any one have any experience with that?

Digital copy of TLOUP2 for me as well. These magazines arrived this morning from eBay. SEGA Pro I remember getting issue one when it released at the time. Amiga Power is tatty but what an issue, jam packed with content and a couple of my favourite games reviewed. Great mag.

Best Mobile/Handheld Game - (smartphones, DS, PSP, 3DS, download and retail games) Super Mario 3D Land Nintendo's tired, washed-up, old mascot impresses tired, washed-up, old gamers with another... another... colourful platformer. Best Retail/Disc Game - (PC, 360, PS3, Wii - games you buy that come on discs) The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Another award for the game with a dodgy hip. But y'know, dragons! Best Download-only Game - (for PC, PSN, WiiShop, XBL) Bastion The Kid sees Supergiant Games' wishy washy RPG and wonders what's wrong; wonders if a hammer can inspire some more entertainment. Best Multiplayer/Online Experience Gears of War 3 Putting your cap on backwards and hooking up with bros to shoot from behind walls is 2011's top pass time. Most Wanted Game of 2012 Mass Effect 3 Generic Sci-fi: The Game comes to a conclusion this year and forumers are excited to see the back of it. Disappointments Battlefield 3 Dice's gripping and unique singleplayer campaign and perfect multiplayer, that wasn't at all broken, fails to impress this lot. Overlooked Gems Shadows of the Damned Shinji Mikami and Suda51's collaboration that isn't Killer7 is worth hunting out apparently. Best avoid. So there we have. The bestest of the bestest for you to look at in list form. Oh, and Sam's the biggest cunt. It's official.

I thought we had a thread for showing off bits of our collections, but I guess not. If you have a particular part of your collection you're into, we'd love to see it. I'll go first. Inspired by @illdog's post in the Post your latest gaming purchases thread (sorry, no Speedos), here's some pictures of my current physical Switch game collection. I am mostly digital these days, completely on Xbox One and PS4, but there's something about the Nintendo Switch and its little cases, game cards and limited releases and launch editions that I can't resist. I do have a decent digital collection as well, though. I started off trying for every Limited Run release, but stopped after game 11 as it was getting expensive. I will still get the odd release, I purchased Celeste (GOTY 2018) the moment it was available to order, but no way am I going for the full set. One I am going to try and keep up with is the Nicalis published releases. Their launch versions always come with goodies including a manual, stickers, key rings to name a few. It's clear a lot of love goes into these. I have them all so far, and a couple on order. Also in this pic are Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, and Japanese releases of Okami and Phoenix Wright Trilogy. Finally, in the spoiler box below is the rest of my Switch games. I have the big box Limited Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but just regular case from the LE is in the picture. I have some games on their way (Dragon's Dogma) or on order (Crystal Crisis, The Messenger, Umihara Kawase Fresh!), so might update this post from time to time. Over to you. ?

Happy 6th anniversary, Nintendo Switch. Timely that my Amazon.jp order for BotW arrived today, too. Six years to the day of its original release. Metroid Prime Remastered, £29.25 from ShopTo. Breath of the Wild + Expansion Pass (complete edition - all content on the game card including latest patch and the expansion pass, no download required), £61.39 delivered. Not sure I'll ever open it, I just wanted it for the collection.

She also got me Ass Creed Syndicate because it was the only one I don't have on PS4, so basically completes the set on PlayStation for me. Edit: I've also got a GBA flash cart on the way to me now, because fuck paying £20-odd for a copy of Doom 2.
