  1. Thank the lords. This is great! Been looking forward to it for so long and up to now it’s completely captured me. It’s definitely not for everyone. It’s a slow paced story platformer/adventure such as an Inside mixed with some satisfying but light 2D Arkham style combat. As much as I hate the description, it’s a “vibes” based game. If you don’t gel with the world it’s not going to do anything for you. But for me it works 100% and has completely won me over. I’m just fully in and intrigued by everything going on. It’s one of those games where I’m reading every single word of every pick up. I want to know everything going on here and the visuals just help amplify it ten fold. It’s one of the most impressive looking games I’ve ever seen. It’s just got so much style & is cool is fuck. Only thing I’d change so far is I’d dial back the block pushing a bit.

  2. You’re so wrong, it’s excellent. Go back to playing your baby Nintendo games.

  3. The Vampire Survivor's sequel has got the Kingdom Hearts/FFXV composer doing its main theme, that's pretty cool Can picture some of the Org XIII boss fights with this. Actually, this game is a bit different cause it's a deck builder, so I might like it (no interest in the last one)

  5. got to say, I'm really enjoying this. I'm about 21 hours in, and it is moving relatively quickly. That's based on vibes though, because for all I know there's a whole other aspect to the games. There's a bunch of tiles I've not completed, which means islands I've not discovered, so there's plenty left, but it runs at more of a pace than I was fearing. It's an easy game, and I could have done far fewer fights and still not struggled. The plot requires you to find segments of map on these stone tiles, each island is made up of 4 or 5, it's not as daunting as it sounds, and generally when you beat an area you have what you need for the next. However, it is possible to NOT have the tiles you need. There's a fairy thing that will tell you where there's some you're missing, vaguely, and they sort of show up on the map when you're close, but there was a point where I needed to go hunting. What made it an issue is that I'd found a couple of areas that I can't do anything with yet, I assumed they were where the missing pieces were, and they're probably story critical at some point, but one of the pieces was just lay in a cave I hadn't properly revisited, the other 2 were tied to mini quests, nothing too involved. Hopefully it doesn't get any more annoying than that
