Had a little splurge last couple of weeks after not buying anything for a while. Absolutely love my new controller. It looks mega! Better than in the pictures. D Pad is getting a bit stiff and creaky on my old pad and had £10 off in the “Black Friday”/“Cyber Monday” sale.

Bought a few things recently. The Takeover I've had a couple of weeks, picked up a game called The End, which has been on my wishlist for ages, and 198X on Steam I picked up Danmaku Unlimited 3 (it's excellent), and Virtua Racing last week, and Phantom Doctrine tonight because its so cheap

One may argue that accessing US Apple for the US App Store is a form of piracy (since you might be accessing content that isn't cleared for UK/EU release). So whilst you might 'pay' for that doesn't necessarily leave you in the clear (e.g. Apple might only have a US distribution licence for certain content). Oh yes, I can be that pedantic.....

It's an excellent (very Scorsese) film. Joe Pesci's performance I particularly liked. It's a story with depth, history and time lines so you need to pay attention. It's 3 hours 29 minutes so it's not unreasonable to have a break unless you've been catheterised. However watching any film in bits while playing with your phone and whatever isn't really doing it justice. When I was a kid a long film at the pictures always had a break and the choc ice woman came down the isle, so it's not a new idea to split your viewing.
