Got this through yesterday. It’s brilliant. Looks and feels great, always preferred this to Mario Kart and even from my short go last night I stand by this thought even more now. Loads better than Team Sonic Racing too. Transformed is a different matter though.. Anyone who enjoyed it back in the day get on it. Just as good as I remember it being. Negatives? It hitches every now and again surprisingly (playing on a X1X). & the load times are excruciating! I’m not one to normally complain too much about long loads as long as they’re infrequent but here they are frequent and seriously bad. To the point I could see it ruining the “quick go” and “just one more race” elements causing me to play it less. We’ll see.

You can do profiles though. A remapping for CTR that you pick whenever you play it. Or you just remap one controller and use that controller for CRT.

Deciding between PS4 and Switch myself, but think I'll have to go with PS4 just because I'm used to it being on PS! I will miss the portability of playing CTR that I had on the PSP and Vita though

Just realised I had some money sitting dormant in my Very account so just ordered this for the kids (they play Crash Bandicoot around their uncles and love it, so this should be a hit).

Be careful around the 1.02 patch, which is only available on PS4 at the moment. There's a high chance it'll lock away a chest you'll need to open to finish the game. So either don't download any patches for this for the time being or, if you haven't started playing yet, wait until 1.02 is installed before you start your game. Xbox will get the update next week, so be prepared. The Switch version will launch with the 1.02 as a Day One patch.

Yeah I get you. I don’t mean to come off as overly negative towards BotW - it’s my fave Zelda since OoT - but yeah, that game had some issues that stopped it from achieving GOAT heights for me but it was in contention for GOTY that year. Back on topic. I think Link’s Awakening will be great, I’ve never played the original and have next to no knowledge of it so it should be cool, don’t think I’ve played a top-down SP Zelda since Phantom Hourglass or some shit, I picked up ALBW ages ago on 3DS but never got round to playing it.

This is one of my favourite songs at the minute. It's not my normal taste but it's really bloody catchy. Same thing with this. Not normally my thing, but it's really chilled and I really like it.
