First Patch Due Should fix a few of the Bugs / Ai Banding issues even less reasons for people not to be playing this

My current set up is coming up for ten years old now so im looking at this (£782 total) Ive got a GTX 970 at the minute which is going for around £50 on ebay so I might bump the 1660ti to a 2060 but im not too fussed:

there's definitely an element of that with some of them. I think a lot of the old arcade games (Simpsons for example) had that problem, you felt like the odds were so stacked against you that it was less about skill and more about luck Streets of Rage 2 (and a few other games) had enough of a moveset to them that there was skill to it. timing was important, reading AI behaviour, and learning the levels to an extent. I could, possibly still can, beat Streets of Rage 2 without using a continue, I used to be able to do that on the harder settings, and have beaten it without losing a life. There's definitely a level of skill to it, but I do think it's an example of the exception proving the rule Also, Guardian Heroes was great, it doesn't get talked about enough

I feel like the internet already cracked this mystery wide open. Rey finds out at the start of the next film and spends most of the movie making hand jokes. Then slowly becomes a hand and that leads into Disney announcing they have bought the rights to Jackass and the bit in the third movie where they are slapping people with the giant hand while they are carrying donuts and shit was actually Rey. Because she can do anything. Next trilogy covers how she travelled here from a galaxy far far away.

All I'm saying is I'm no Palpatine lover or anything but there's parts of his whole intergalactic fascism ethos that I just think is worth listening to sometimes Aw crap I got the new page post, well I'll put more of an effort in then I'm also not a fan of the idea of a new religion of force users, or the series of background epic fights (which reminds me of ROTK). But I do like the idea of bringing dead people back cause I'm a sucker for having everything go full circle and seeing the Emperor be more than just a wrinkly cunt who got thrown down a hole and is a big internet meme or a boring politican guy. Make him more of a credible menace if he's actually not been dead this whole time maybe

So I've been talking SoR3 a bit today. It's on my mind since I played it again today and somewhat relevant to "the discourse". And I'm lost on the hate for the music. The OST is mostly great. SoR2's music is sweet. SoR3's music is dirty: Though because of Hendo's dislike of it I suspect it won't be in a podcast ?

Gimmicks. They put those in to be different. It's peak was 2. Perfect music. Perfect stages. Perfect bosses. And a big muscly man who cracks necks. Not some old geezer robot who shakes n slams like he just lost on street fighter ?

Bit of an odd one. Now only if they put a remastered Killer7 onto consoles I'd be interested....

If we’re making recommendations than a few comics I think worth reading are Vision as mentioned above Infinity event by Jonathan Hickman Thor: The God Butcher & God Bomb by Jason Aaron Spider-Man: Spider Island and Superior Spider-Man by Dan Slott Hawkeye by Matt Fraction Any run of Daredevil from either Ed Brubaker or Mark Waid Thanos Wins by Donny Cates is really fun That’s all the recent good Marvel books I can think off the top. I’m sure there are others but that’s all I got for the minute

This. If they were selling it for £100 or just giving it away free if you bought a few years Gold and Gamepass in front it'd have been great. The package they're selling as is, not so much.

Fighting monsters in Skellige in the middle of a big storm was really atmospheric

*Raises Hand* Took me about 3 hours of trying, I was pretty exasperated with it earlier as all my skills from yesterday had seemingly dissipated. I stuck with it though and I bloody did it!!! No cheesing involved either. Absolutely beaming from ear to ear, was just so relieved as well, think I almost shed a tear. What a game. For me it far surpasses Bloodborne and is up there with my Miyazaki-From favourite Dark Souls 3, I actually may like it a little more than DS3.

Ubisoft are giving away Assassin's Creed Unity (the one set in Paris) on pc in honour of Notre Dame. They're also donating €500K to the rebuilding, which is good of them, you get the game through Uplay

I think the 8k is just them future proofing. There's no way the PS5 is running games at 8k, but there's no reason it can't output an 8k signal. Like you said @Nag could just be video, presumably by the end of next generation Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, iPlayer etc will all be outputting at 8k SSDs are coming down in price. I'm wondering if there's going to be means to have a 2nd one in there rather than a larger one. 1TB SSDs aren't crazy expensive, but anything larger than that is going to be. Who knows though, it's possible Sony feel like their download speeds will be enough, or that we'll all be streaming everything. I suppose we shouldn't see a massive spike in file sizes next gen, we're already dealing with 4k textures, 60gb file sizes, we're probably looking at the same for the first couple of years
